Meet Our Team

Rachael Peters

Owner and Head Instructor

A smiling woman with long hair sitting cross-legged on a yoga mat, holding a small black and white puppy. The room has wooden flooring, a radiator, and a wire dog crate in the background.

Originally from Limassol, Cyprus. Rachael is a former professional ballet dancer who trained and performed with companies such as San Francisco Ballet and Northern Ballet Leeds, and competed internationally at events including the Youth America Grand Prix. Her background gives her a deep understanding of movement, strength, and how the body works, which she brings into every session.

After a career-ending injury, Pilates became a huge part of her recovery and day-to-day training. What started as rehabilitation quickly turned into a passion for helping others feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in their bodies.

She is a qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, with experience teaching at PureGym Manchester, and has trained in Ballet Barre with STOTT Pilates. More recently, she completed STOTT Pilates Mat and Reformer training, allowing her to work with clients both on the mat and on the reformer.

Rachael’s classes are supportive, challenging, and fun, with an emphasis on building strength, improving mobility, and moving well—while keeping things light and enjoyable. Suitable for beginners through to experienced clients, her sessions are designed to leave you feeling stronger, energised, and uplifted.

Sadie Jackson

Instructor

Meet 19Twenty6 Pilates instructor Sadie — a physiotherapist by day and certified reformer Pilates instructor by night with a passion for movement, rehabilitation, and mindful strength training.

After spending 2.5 years travelling and living in Australia, Sadie recently returned to beautiful Cumbria, bringing with her fresh inspiration from some of Sydney’s leading Pilates studios. Exploring a variety of classes and teaching styles helped shape the dynamic, supportive approach she now brings to her own sessions.

Sadie first discovered Pilates five years ago during rehabilitation from a running injury and quickly experienced the benefits both physically and mentally. Inspired to deepen her understanding of movement and recovery, she completed her reformer Pilates training in Australia, where she discovered a true love for teaching and helping others build confidence through movement.

Alongside teaching at 19Twenty6 Pilates, Sadie works as an NHS physiotherapist. You’ll find her leading evening and weekend classes focused on strength, mobility, balance, and feeling good in your body.

We are excited to expand our team and are currently seeking qualified instructors to join our studio.

If you are interested in becoming an instructor and would like advice on gaining a qualification, please feel free to contact the studio via the email below.
